Mesa Verde
by Igo My Way
I love being on the road, driving great distances, when you don’t even know where you go. There’s a sense of romance in it. Spending nights at the car or at the hostels, meeting new people, visiting new places…
One time the car got me and Phil (he actually got me there; thank you) to Mesa Verde, a home of the Ancestral Pueblo people, who lived there for over 700 years, from A.D. 600 to A.D. 1300. Just imagine how old that place is. It is situated in a really unique place; the nature there is breathtaking. It is actually a park and its full name is Mesa Verde National Park, located in Montezuma County, Colorado,United States.
Great photos!
Thanks!

this is really cool. I missed this trip during my Utah trip earlier and want to make it up in a follow-up road trip. Their is a fair bit of snow and i am wondering if it hampered any of your hikes ? When did you guys do this trip ?
Hi! Thanks. We went there by car, so the snow wasn’t really a problem. It was cold though 🙂 We went there in April, I believe.
Thanks. As long as i can drive through the roads and hike, I don’t mind 🙂 I am hoping to visit it this thanksgiving week (after we cancelled our road trip last year because of snow storm)
It might be snowy there in November, but anyway I think it will be very beautiful! Hope you enjoy your trip 😉
Wonderful…Nothing is better than nature.
True! Thanks.
