Linguine with shrimps
by Igo My Way
Sometimes, completely out of nowhere, I get this desire to cook. Something that tastes and looks good. Something that is simple. And usually that something is Italian. So, the other day I made pasta with shrimps.
You’ll need a pack of Tagliolini (or any other type of pasta), cooked frozen shrimps, tomatoes, creme cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, spices (I made my life simpler and got an Italian Herb Seasoning Grinder):
Blanch and skin the tomatoes, then halve them and chop into medium pieces.
Put a couple of lugs of olive oil in the pan and fry about 300g of shrimps and tomatoes for a couple of minutes. Add spices.
Add the cream, allow to simmer gently for a couple more minutes and then remove the pan from the heat. Season the sauce carefully with salt, pepper and the lemon juice
Put a pan of salted water on to heat for the pasta.
When the water starts to boil, throw your pasta into the pan.
Go for a break while pasta is being cooked.
Get the pasta out of the pan.
Put the sauce on the plate.
Add some pasta. Season it.
Maybe some Italian bread?
